What a day we had at the second Frank Barry memorial Tournament on Saturday morning. From the start, when Keith Ricken and the Cork Minor players brought the Munster and All Ireland Cups, to the thrilling Shield final and then Cup final ,it was a fantastic day. We had the sun , the piper ,the crowds and everyone together for a fantastic day remembering our great friend Frank. A huge thanks to everyone who made it such a special day, our fantastic U12 team and their coaches, who done the club proud , their parents and all the supporters. To all the wonderful volunteers who helped out , ye are the people that make St Michaels special. Bridie and her army who manned the kitchen , the u13’s 15’s 16’s Minors and Senior players who were there for it , the Ladies Club, Banjo , his Mother , his sister , they fed a multitude of people… what a day. Thanks to Macroom, Inniscarra, Brian Dillons GAA , St. Vincent’s H&F Club Carrigtwohill GAA Club for accepting the invite and congrats to St Finbarrs and Blarney GAA Club who took home the silverware. Well done to all the St Michaels squad who were very unlucky not to keep the cup at home. We already look forward to next year #stmichaelsabú
