FRANK BARRY MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT

SATURDAY SEPT 7th PÁIRC MHICHIL NAOFA

We will host the second Frank Barry Memorial tournament on Saturday September 5th. Featuring St Vincents , Macroom , Carrigtwohill, Blarney, Brian Dillons, St Finbarrs and of course, our own U12’s. Same as last year , we are looking forward to a great day of football and remembering Frank.

It’s all systems go for the Golf Classic at the end of August. Still opportunities to sponsor the event , contact Donal Downey or any of the Golf Committee members for details.

4G DEVELOPEMENT

Any visitors or members who have been in Páirc Mhichíl Naofa in the last few weeks will have noticed the beginning of groundwork for our 4G development. Please be mindful and careful of heavy machinery in the facility and bear with us while this exciting project develops.

25 & 75 YEAR ANNIVERSARY DINNER DANCE

SATURDAY NOVEMBER 5TH
ROCHESTOWN PARK HOTEL

Our Dinner Dance Committee is working hard in the background organising this great event , honouring 25 years since the Ladies section was founded and 75 years since St Michaels GFC was formed. We are anxious however around numbers , and with the need to book the hotel room ,band and DJ we really need to ascertain numbers. You can also book a table for 10 , please let us know if you wish to do that as soon as possible.

CHAMPIONSHIP SEPTEMBER 13TH & 14TH

We have a few weeks off now to gather our thoughts and recover. Hopefully, for both Senior and Junior, we might have a few people back from injuries and travel. The final senior group game is below in Riverstick on Sept 13th with the Junior A team out the following night above in Ballinlough.
