St Michaels 2-13 Canovee 2-10

Our U16’s had a great win in Páirc Mhichíl Naofa tonight over Canovee. In a game where the wind was a factor once again , the young Michaels lads built up a sizeable half time lead. The Canovee lads didn’t relent however and stormed back into it when they had the elements themselves. Some great defending from our lads kept the lively Canovee forwards at bay and their revival ended when a dazzlers goal with two mins on the clock earned us a hard earned win. Well done to the lads who played some exciting football and to Canovee who contributed to a great game.
