PÁIRC MHICHÍL NAOFA CLEAN UP
Last year we organised a clean up day which was a huge success ahead of the Frank Barry tournament. We were able to showcase our fantastic facilities in a very positive way thanks to that clean up. Unfortunately, nothing stays the same and the grass around the area is back , as are the weeds , that’s nature , we can cut the grass and get rid of the weeds.Deccie Nolan does a fantastic job in Páirc Mhichíl Naofa , from cutting the grass , lining pitches , manage bookings and general maintenance of our facilities. Deccie does this voluntarily, he cannot do it all on his own. I’m proposing that we have a clean up hour once every month , particularly in the summer evenings , and we bring our facilities up to the standard that they should be at. If we can get 7-10 people to give up an hour on the first Monday of every month that would be brilliant. Private message me (Mossy) if you are available, it doesn’t have to be every time , if we get up to ten different volunteers across June July August and September to meet on that first Monday we can have a fantastic looking facility once again.

U7 Girls Blitz
What a day for our first U7 blitz against Bishopstown, Carrigaline and Ballinhassig. The girls were fantastic and did amazing! Thanks to @bishopstowngaa for hosting 💚💛 
2018’s IN BISHOPSTOWN
The 2018 group gave a clinic in football skills at Bishopstown this morning. On a glorious morning the boys played teams from Ballincollig, Bishopstown, Carrigaline, Douglas, Delaneys and Whites Cross. The teamwork on display was a joy to watch.

Cork U20 Ladies are back in action today in Round 3 of the All-Ireland Championship with a big away clash against @GalwayLadiesFootball.
Both sides come into this game unbeaten, so everything is on the line in what promises to be a top-class encounter in Tuam.

U14’s defeated in Championship
Our U14’s put in a superb performance tonight against a very strong Ballinora team in Championship. Some fantastic performances all over the field and on another night could have got the win. A slow start and a few chances off the crossbar during the match didn’t help. Plenty of positives and plenty of talent .

Seniors lose , Juniors draw
Our Seniors went down to a strong Carrigaline team in Páirc Mhichíl Naofa tonight in front of a sizeable crowd. After a very slow start , they battled back and the final scoreboard didn’t really reflect the effort on the pitch. Best wishes and speedy recovery to Simon who went off injured tonight. Our Juniors were unlucky against Whitechurch after a late equaliser denied the lads who , with a few minors excelling, put in a very encouraging, battling performance.
