75 Years of St Michaels
This year we celebrate 75 years in existence. Back in 1951 , when all those great men who founded this great club , sat around a table in The Leaping Salmon,discussing the vision they had for St Michaels , you’d have to think, that after three quarters of a century, they’d be so proud of where we are today. With Páirc Mhichíl Naofa, our home not far from the old Lakeland’s ,we have a modern clubhouse with a 4G pitch in the pipeline. A vibrant club with a very healthy adult section and an underage academy being looked after by people like themselves. We are competing at Premier Senior level , the top table of Cork football, that was their vision,and we want to uphold that. Three quarters of a century, 75 years.Our aim today is to continue the work those great men started off all those years ago, and indeed all those since , who have given such fantastic service to St Michaels. Our vision is the same , that is to encourage and promote,and to provide opportunity to play and compete in the spirit they would be proud of. 💛💚
