A disappointing result tonight for our Seniors in Round 5 of the McCarthy Insurance Group Division 2 League below in Páirc Mhichíl Naofa. The blustery conditions were prevalent from the off ,and it was the visitors who made the most of it, particularly in the second half, when they ran out easy winners after a dull enough opening 30 mins. We will move on to our next fixture in Dunmanway against Doheny’s hoping to bounce back after tonight.

A great win for our Minor team out in Douglas tonight where we now qualify for the final of the section. Well done to all involved .Played in windy conditions it was a close enough match in the 1st half, Michael’s showed great fight and determination to pull away in the 2nd half, with Jack Punch scoring 3-2 playing full forward
