Hard luck to our U16 girls yesterday on losing out on a thrilling league glass final vs Crosshaven. An incredible second half fight back ended with a winning point by Crosshaven in the final minute. There is a lot to be proud of and the girls were agonisingly close to a reward their incredible hard work deserves. Well done to the girls and their coaches 💚💛

Our U13 team had their Championship quarter-final last night against Kilworth in the sunshine at Páirc Mhichíl Naofa. With a large panel, every girl gave absolutely everything and the team dominated the first half.
The second half proved much trickier, but this fantastic group dug deep and came away with a brilliant 3-point win.
Onto the semi-final next for this great bunch of girls 💪🏐

Last year we organised a clean up day which was a huge success ahead of the Frank Barry tournament. We were able to showcase our fantastic facilities in a very positive way thanks to that clean up. Unfortunately, nothing stays the same and the grass around the area is back , as are the weeds , that’s nature , we can cut the grass and get rid of the weeds.Deccie Nolan does a fantastic job in Páirc Mhichíl Naofa , from cutting the grass , lining pitches , manage bookings and general maintenance of our facilities. Deccie does this voluntarily, he cannot do it all on his own. I’m proposing that we have a clean up hour once every month , particularly in the summer evenings , and we bring our facilities up to the standard that they should be at. If we can get 7-10 people to give up an hour on the first Monday of every month that would be brilliant. Private message me (Mossy) if you are available, it doesn’t have to be every time , if we get up to ten different volunteers across June July August and September to meet on that first Monday we can have a fantastic looking facility once again.

What a day for our first U7 blitz against Bishopstown, Carrigaline and Ballinhassig. The girls were fantastic and did amazing! Thanks to @bishopstowngaa for hosting 💚💛 
The 2018 group gave a clinic in football skills at Bishopstown this morning. On a glorious morning the boys played teams from Ballincollig, Bishopstown, Carrigaline, Douglas, Delaneys and Whites Cross. The teamwork on display was a joy to watch.

Cork U20 Ladies are back in action today in Round 3 of the All-Ireland Championship with a big away clash against @GalwayLadiesFootball.
Both sides come into this game unbeaten, so everything is on the line in what promises to be a top-class encounter in Tuam.
